Faith like a child...

It is incredible how much the perspective of my faith has changed since Sweetpea was born. I have learned much from her presence in our home. For instance, whenever we go on a long trip such as to visit my husband's family up north, or to go camping for a weekend, we say a prayer in the car before we leave. She picked up on this quickly and the past two weeks has folded her hands and said "pway" EVERY time we get into the car- whether to go grocery shopping, grandma's, library, or a friend's. Of course, we then pray. How can you not? I realized there really is no logical reason why we would only pray for long trips and not the daily ones. It has been fun to thank God for books, food, friends and family just as we are about to go enjoy those things. Living in gratefulness.....

And now- our newest acquisition:

Although it is quite small, hopefully that fish will bring her joy for a long, long, long time. Because I don't like pets.
